Jamieson 5k

Time to find your wristband!
Saturday 5 April sees the 75th running of the Jamieson 5k, commencing at 2.30pm at Scotch College. You have until 5.00 pm next Thursday 3 April to register if you wish to score points and be eligible for awards at the Jamieson. If you register after the cut off time, you may run, but you will not count for team points and your name will not appear in the results. Please don’t leave registration until the last minute, as doing so just creates headaches for other people. If you have friends or training partners intending to join, remind them to act now.
New runners will be able to collect their timing wristbands upon arrival at the Jamieson. If you are a returning runner and have lost your wristband, you must purchase a replacement through the online shop.
Check in remains at the tennis courts at the bottom of Morrison Street, but, as always, the available parking will fill up early, so be prepared to park some distance away if you are arriving late. Runners must move to the Soccer Pitch for the start of the race at 2.30pm sharp.
As usual, Old Scotch Aths Club will provide post-race afternoon tea on the balcony of the Cardinal Club.
The course is the same as previous years. After heading roughly west from the start for 500m, runners double back on to the walking trail and thereafter complete two anti-clockwise laps of the school before finishing on the Soccer Pitch.
