Round 6 of the XCR season was the 10k Cross Country Championships at Bundoora Park. Ben Beischer placed 10th in the men’s open race, while there were medals for APSU and OX athletes as follows:
APS United: Ant Rickards 3rd M50, Monica Lammers 1st W55, Anne Martin 3rd W55. The W50 team placed 1st, W40 team 2nd.
Old Xaverians: Belinda Blackburn 3rd W50, Alan Colman 2nd M55, Bruce Davie 3rd M60. OX also took home almost every individual medal on offer in the Para events. The M50 team was 3rd.
St Kevin’s: No medallists or top 3 team placings.
