APSU runner sets Vic record

APSOC runners faced a quality field of runners in round 7 of the XCR series at Albert Park. Despite the strong opposition in the 10k, APSU stars Mark Frater (2nd M50), Andrea Lung (2nd W55) and Monica Lammers (3rd W55) won individual medals. Christine Williams (OX) won the W60 division. John Brivulis added a silver medal for APSU in the U14 3k. Simon Lloyd (APSU) set a new M70 10k road record. The APSU M60 and W55 teams continued their dominant seasons, with the M60 squad achieving the remarkable feat of its two teams winning and coming runner-up in its division. Meanwhile in Germany, Tom Bowers and Ben Beischer (APSU and Old Scotch) have placed 13th and 14th in the World Uni Games half marathon in 65:40 and 65:41 respectively. Luca di Conza (SKAC) placed 24th in 66:55.
