The wild wind that whipped around Lake Wendouree did not stop APS United’s runners from putting in some brave performances in the AV 15 km/6km Road Championships. Ed Beischer added another State title, this time in the U20 6 km race. In the open 15 km event, the women’s teams again enjoyed great success, winning division 3. Three APSU teams remain in the hunt for premierships – men’s division 5, women’s division 3 and W40+.
