Times were generally slow this year at Churchill Park, as runners gave thanks that there was plenty of shade from the hot sun out on the course. But none gave thanks for the seemingly never-ending climb to the high point. Peter Byron (CG) and Dean Whiteley (OX) didn’t mind though, as they won handicap honours.
