A bitter wind and low temperatures greeted runners at the AV 10 km Road Championships at Albert Park. APSU’s best results were among the women, as Anna Kasapis and Nicole Joseph (on debut) finished high on the field. Janice de Vries and Sam McLean won silver medals in the W40+ and M40+ divisions respectively, and the women’s division 4 and M40+ teams won their grades, so it was a pretty good day all round for the club. Although she was not representing APSU, Alex Paterson of Old Xaverians won the open women’s 10k state title.
