Round 4 was the 5k Road Championships at Albert Park. Team success for APS teams was somewhat elusive, but an individual highlight was the individual gold medal to debutant John Brivulis (APSU) in the under 14 race. Inexplicably no overage medals were awarded at this event, but Bruce Davie (OX) finished 2nd in the M60 category, while Andrea Lung and Monica Lammers (both APSU) took 2nd and 3rd respectively in W55.
