Adam Pyke (OW) was the last of the “hounds” released from Caulfield Grammar into Jells Park, but he became the “hare” as he crossed the finish line in first place, overtaking the entire field during this year’s Hare and Hounds race. This feat has been achieved before, but it is a rare occurrence. Anna Kasapis (OW) was the fastest female runner.
