This year’s McPhail saw an impressive win by 17 year old James Lightfoot. Still at school, James is the son of David and Lisa, two of APSOC’s greatest runners and winners of numerous events during the 1990’s. David won the McPhail three times and Lisa (nee O’Connell) once. The win by James is the first time in our long history that any parent and son have recorded wins in APSOC scratch events.
