APS United athletes came away from Sandown Racecourse with a fistful of medals, as the following teams all finished on the podiums of their respective grades – W40 2nd, M50 3rd, W50 2nd, M60 1st and 3rd, and under 14 3rd. The W40, W50 and M60 teams all sit on top of their respective competition ladders at the halfway mark of the season. Luca di Conza (SK) recorded the overall equal 5th fastest open time of 18:18 for the 6.2k distance, while these APSU overage athletes were prominent – Mark Frater 2nd M50, Mark Willetts 2nd M60, John Braszell 1st M65, Andrea Lung 2nd W55 and Monica Lammers 3rd W55. Christine Williams (OX) was fastest W65.
