APS United’s M40+ and M50+ teams have opened the XCR ’13 season with dominant gold medal-winning performances. The W40+ team narrowly missed out on medals by finishing 4th. These were the team highlights, while Alice Baquie and Izzy De Castella were the individual standouts, running the 2nd and 6th fastest women’s times respectively in the entire field. Izzy was also the overall fastest 40+ woman, while Mark Purvis was the fastest 50+ male.
