Karen Thorp (SK) won the half marathon at Westerfolds Park last Saturday, beating all the men and other women home. This makes her the first female in the long history of APSOC to win an event outright. Anna Kasapis (OW) made it two wins for the sisterhood, because although she was second across the line in the 5k event, the leading athlete was ineligible to compete.
