Xavier wins it for St Kevin’s

7 July 2016

St Kevin’s Xavier Chapman performed the rare feat of being the last runner to start in the 16k, but crossing the line first as the handicap winner. He also ran the fastest time in the event. And on the day of a post-race tribute to the late Keith Lodge, it was equally appropriate that Chloe Cornwell of St Kevin’s should win the 8k handicap, her first win in 26 years of competing.
